At least 40 people are feared dead after a series of bombs exploded in Gombe city, northeast Nigeria, on Wednesday. The bombs exploded at 2 bus stations killed over 40 and injuring many others. A rescue worker and a witness told AFP.

Two bomb explosions rocked the Yerwa Government secondary school which hosts the Internally Displaced Persons from Bama in Maiduguri, Borno state this evening. The incident took place at about 6:15pm shaking many houses and structures around Madganari ward, Ramat Polytechnic institute and other nearby communities.
Another fatal explosion has once again ripped thought the city of Maiduguri. The bomb blast which occurred by about 4:00pm ripped through Ahmadu Bello Way near Maiduguri Monday market in Borno state this afternoon. Casualty figures have not yet been announced.
