This will be my last post before xmas, so let's have fun with it...Stella Damasus Aboderin floats production company - Encomium magazine Multi-talented entertainer, Stella Damasus Aboderin, has berthed with a production company. The first from the stable is the Stella Damasus show, a mixed grill of exciting and thought provoking television programmes with titles like Sistaz, a sitcom talk show, Thru my eyes, Gig Life, Real people and others.According to Stella who is an ambassador of the S.O.S Children Village and a member of the world food programme "We're discussing with some local, international and cable TV networks and their responses are very encouraging, so we are sure to debut early next year."Great! Congrats babe! I love being inspired! Be inspired!MI sells 100, 000 copies in less than two weeks - Seun Apara (Encomium) Fast rising rap artiste, MI, has finally released his debut album entitled 'Talk About It'. The album was released by T.Joe on thursday Dec 11th. He released a few copies which he intended using to test the market. The first batch of 100, 000 copies entered the market at 4:47pm and before the close of business in Alaba International market the same day, the album sold out.Great news. Can't wait to get my hands on that album. Y'all should also check it out.PRESS RELEASE FOR MEM'ONot sure if you can define or refer to her as a new artiste. She decided to focus on discovering and developing talent out of a passion for the industry and what it portends. This led to the birth of one of the pioneer Creative Arts Management Company in Nigeria, ONE Integrated Management Co, she won the first ever British Council, International Young Music Entrepreneur (Nigeria) Award in 2006, was nominated as Young Entreprenur of the year at the 2007 Future Awards and has been a major contributor to the development of the Nigerian entertainment Industry. All this is asides the fact that she is a part of the history making, industry defining, Nigerian International group KUSH.Most people know her as Emem Ema but as an artiste, she'd rather be known as Mem'O! When the world wondered when would she drop her own solo album she never gave into the pressure. Apparently, one phone call from her group member and producer extraordinaire, Dapo Torimiro sealed the deal. For thise who do not know, Dapo is a member of KUSH and has recently been responsible for hits like John Legend's "Quickly", Brandy's "Torn Down", David Archuleta's "Running" and co wrote Obama's Campaign song, "Change". When I tried again to calm him down, he started abusing me and boasted that my being an actor does not mean he cannot deal with me and nothing would happen. Some 91 people in the border town have been killed by the disease, while 3,546 are suspected to be suffering from it. Maybe you can learn a thing or two from her. She spoke to Abiola Aloba of Encomium magazine.Hear her..."My frame of mind helps me stay young. Don't write yourself off because of age. I want to encourage the upcoming younger ones to look forward to old age, not to be scared of age. What is age? So far as you are alive, you should strive to look good, not look young. I don't want to be young, I keep saying that every day. It took me a long time to grow, but it's important that you continue to look good so that young girls will not be afraid of age. Don't be afraid of age so long as you can still be productive. It's a thing of the mind, but make an effort to be healthy and fit. You will be healthy and fit if you watch what you eat and drink, what you do, how much you exercise your body and your frame of mind"Well said.Did you know this about... Igbo Ora? - Desola Bakare of Encomium magazineDid you know that Igbo Ora in Western Nigeria has the largest population of twins in the World? Igbo Ora, a sleepy town in Oyo State has five times the normal average number of twins births in the population. The average number of twins born per 1000 in the world is five. In Igbo Ora, the average is 155 twin births per 1000. That's the largest percentage anywhere in the world. Researchers have been debating for years why the people in Yoruba land has the monopoly of twin births.According to one study, it is believed it has to do with diet. Apparently yam, a vital staple food in Western Nigeria (Iyan, Amala etc) contains large amounts of natural estrogen, the hormone responsible for egg release in women. It is thought that the diet of these yams cause in many cases more than one egg to be released in women, thereby resulting in large number of twins. The town is called the 'twin capital' of the world.I never knew this...found it fascinating and thought to share...Julius Agwu's Crack Ya Ribs...For those returning home for xmas, if you're looking for a place to unwind and have the fun of your life, be sure to be at Julius Agwu's Crack Ya RibsDate: Sun Dec 14thVenue: Expo Centre, Ocean View, V/ITime: 2pm (N3, 000), 6pm (N5, 000), VIP 10, 000I'm definitely going to be there...catch y'all there! And check out the fun pictures of the top Comedian's trip to the US with his beautiful wife IbiereLove nwantin tiPix thanks to Julius Agwu...The 2009 Grammy NominationsThe countdown to music's biggest night has officially begun!
Hi people. I'm fully back now to regular blogging...I hope...lol. We'll do a little bit of Naija news and gossip today, starting with sultry actress Ini Edo. There's been a lot of rumor going round that she is getting married or married or something like it, then there was another rumor that she has not only shuned her wedding but also dumped the husband to be. She spoke to City People's Juliana Orji about it all...Hear herIni "I told you a few backs that my relationship is still intact. Anybody who wrote a story that I have dumped my man will still rewrite it, because I cannot dump my man. Who will I dump him for? I heard they went as far as fixing a wedding date, how can people fix my wedding date for me? I have never mentioned a date to anybody. They kept quoting a particular person who they claim is very close to me, and that the person gives them information about me. I am wondering who this close person to me is who cannot tell them the truth about Ini Edo. I am not married yet and I have not dumped my man. I cannot dump"Ok, she's spoken...let all the rumors stop now...Moving on...Comedian, Omobaba, speaks on his most embarrassing moment."The most recent one was at the City People Fashion and Style Awards , where I was selected among the best 10 well dressed men. After a while, someone walked up to me saying, "Hello, are you the champayne guy?" I was short of words. That is one of the reasons I find it difficult to wear bow tie again, especially red and black"lol...Basketmouth acquires multimillion naira mansion in Lekki...Afolabi Adekoya - City people magazineAce comedian, Basketmouth, has acquired a multi-million naira mansion in Lekki. In a chat with Basketmouth last week, he confirmed he bought the house lately but has not moved into it for certain reasons. Asked about the cost and location of the house, he said "Please, make we drop that one for now"Good for Basket, he works hard enough.Faze drops new album (Originality)- Afolabi AdekoyaAs we await his return from the UK, where he is currently on tour, news has filtered in about his imminent album release cum video premiere. We have it on authority that Faze will be releasing his new album in the first week of October at Planet One, Maryland. The album which will contain no fewer than five tracks from his Independent album, is supposed to include the hit track 'More than a friend'Ruggedman quits Music - Afolabi AdekoyaThis might come as a heart break to many of his teeming fans but the truth is that the talented rapper is quitting music for real. Hear him"It is true that I am quitting music and that will be after my third and last album is released. The reason I am quitting music is because I want to concentrate on my record label, Rugged Records, my clothing line and the new artistes I have on my label. I might not want to mention the names of the artistes I have on my label but before the end of the year, their singles will drop. You know I have so much on my hands and I am the one doing all myself, so I need to quit music to concentrate on other things."For some reason, I don't believe this.
He calls himself the entertainer...that he definitely is, but beyond that, this 28year old artist and businessman, is a genius. I'm so fascinated with him and so proud of what he's been able to accomplish at such a young age.About 6/7 years ago I saw this music video by someone who called himself D'banj. The song was titled 'Kiss me again'. I kinda liked it but never paid it much attention. Alot of people didn't pay that young guy much attention then. He even said his parents wanted him to go to school and forget about music, so I guess back then, he didn't get much support from family, friends and music lovers. One would think the young man would give up and focus on other things, but he must have known what he had inside of him, he must have seen the great future he'll have if he contiued to pursue his dream, so instead of giving up, he traveled to the UK. I really don't know what exactly he did in the UK for the few years he was there. All I know is that he came back in 2005 and this time around, he got our attention. Not only the attention of music lovers, but captains of industries, State Executives, Governors, the Senate President, even the Oba of Lagos. Hea4a4s made us all recognize him.His meteoric rise is phenomenal! But how did he do it? Dona4a4t you guys ever wonder? How did he go from an unknown, struggling artist to the greatest artiste in Nigeria at the moment? His first hit single was a4Tongoloa4a4 in 2005, how did he rise to the top in three years? From making nothing to making 10million naira a week (according to him), winning numerous awards, including MTV African Artiste of the Year, and also becoming a UN Ambassador.Dbanj and ex-Governor of Lagos State, Bola TinubuWhat took Dapo Oyebanjo from obscurity to greatness? Some say ita4a4s his talent, others think it's because he carved a niche for himself, some say ita4a4s maybe his lyrics, while others think hea4a4s just blessed.I think ita4a4s all of that put together + hard work, dedication, perseverance, focus, belief and confidence in who he is and what hea4a4s capable of. And of course he found someone (Don Jazzy) who believed in him. This is some of the ingredient we need to be greata4meaning that anyone of us can be this great or even greater, we just have to have the right ingredient.Dbanj's parents and Governors Fashola and TinubuDbanj is not only an artiste and ambassador; hea4a4s also an astute businessman. Hea4a4s the Vice-president of Mohits Records; hea4a4s partnering with Bank PHB for an upcoming reality show, and Globacom for the KOKO range of handsets, he recently launched Koko condoms and I hear also that Koko Water is in the works.Understanding the importance of giving back, he started a foundation - Koko Foundation, where hea4a4s helping motherless babies and giving scholarships.Dbanj and Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu (pix thanks to Ayeni the great)Ia4a4m sure he has women at the snap of his fingers, but he doesna4a4t go around impregnating them or acquiring mistresses. And anyone whoa4a4s met him will tell you hea4a4s humble, funny, nice and very accomodating.Best of all, his new album, a4the entertainera4a4 is a masterpiecea4Personally, I think this is what it means to be great. I duff my hat for this young man whoa4a4s teaching us all a thing a two on how to make our lives meaningful. We cana4a4t all be Da4a4banj, we cana4a4t all be talented singers or entrepreneurs, but we all can make meaning of our lives and be the greatest we can be, in any field we choosea4It's really up to us.Dapo, youa4a4re a shining example. We are all proud of you.Meanwhile I'm sure y'all know that famous blogger and journalist, Niyi Tabiti, got married last weekened...here are some pictures from his wedding. Pix thanks to http://solafolowosele.blogspot.com/Here's wishing my dear friend the best of married lifeI'm out, see y'all tomorrow.Cheers.nigerianbloggers.com

5 Vote(s)

I'm the last person to ask advice on matters of love. What do I know? What have I experienced? I'm not married, haven't been in many relationships, I started the love game much later in life. Sometimes I wonder if I've ever really been in love. I'm as confused about love as most of you are, but in all my confusion, there are a few things I know for sure about this thing called love. These are the things I believe...1. I believe that when you finally meet 'the one', that special someone meant for you, somewhere deep inside of you, both of you will know. It will feel like you've known each other in another life or another place...you just will KNOW!2. I believe God knows when to send that special someone to us. He sends then when He thinks it's the right time , not when we think it's the right time.3. I believe God has someone special for everyone. If the relationship you've been in or in right now didn't or doesn't work out, then that's not the person God wants for you.4. I believe that love comes in the most unique and amazing ways. Sometimes when we least expect it.5. Sometimes real love is just right under our noses. All we need to do is look well.6. I believe in love we don't need to pretend or mold ourselves according to our partner's expectations. Let them love us for who we really are...7. Love is the most beautiful gift, because with all the money and success in the world, if you have no one to share it with, it means nothing.8. The mistake we women make is wait around for a man to make up his mind whether he wants to marry us or not. I believe that a real man pretty much knows right away when he sees his 'future wife'. After that, he's just checking to confirm what he already know... 9. There's nothing wrong with being single (If you're happy), but there's a lot wrong with being unhappily married.10. When it comes to love, don't be a coward. Go look for it and hold on to it when you find it.Ok, this is what I know about love. What about you? What do you know for sure about love?Meanwhile, here's a new show calledDragons Den -Nigeria Featuring:John Momoh Ibukun AwosikaFemi TejuoshoChris ParkesAlexander Amosuand Toks Ishmael. This show starts Broadcasts Sunday 27 onwards...9:30 AIT and Channels TV for now. Will bring you more detail about this show later.Have a beautiful week ahead.nigerianbloggers.com

3 Vote(s)

The home of a former South South GovernorTurned his home into central bankYour money...My moneySee where it's hiddenI don't want to mention his name but he ruled a South South State for 8years. Arrested a few times for money laundering in the UK and was also arrested and detained for several months by the EFCC last year....try and figure out who I'm talking about. He turned the treasury of his State to his own. He now banks for his State in his house...What a shame! To think that the average Nigerian lives under a dollar a day...and a man has all of this in his possession. Is this greed? Senselessness? Lack of conscience? Madness? Evil? What is it? How do you describe a man who steals from the poor and keeps all this money for himself? So sad! What a SHAME!Anyway, here's something people like our ex-governors won't understand...its called Food For One MillionFOOD FOR ONE MILLION is a project under the Global Initiative for Peace, Love and care. It is aimed at providing food to the less privileged children in order to keep them healthy and nourished. we are able to achieve this through sensitizing the privileged public about the plight of the underprivileged Nigerian child and the need to give food in order to sustain their welfare and development. The response from the privileged public has been slow but encouraging. using the Collective Responsibility Initiative (CRI), we have been able to get individuals, corporate organizations, government and donor groups to participate through donations and service at the FFIM monthly donation drive. This is held every last saturday of the month at the international Conference Center abuja, where all concerned donors bring food items, beverages, toiletries, cloths, toys, etc. Once donations have been received, we all proceed to distribute all donated items amongst the various orphanages. **** As a matter of policy, FFIM does not accept CASH donations.
Hi everyone, I'm sorry for not blogging as regularly as I used to. I'm working on a show in July, trying to get another mag out, also looking for adverts for the mag and working on other stuff...so, you can imagine how it's been...I will get back to regular blogging in a week or so... bear with me abeg!Meanwhile someone made a statement some days ago that I just had to bring here for discussion. She said "Any girl above 25years old should never have only ONE boyfriend. If you are 25years and above, you should be in at least TWO serious relationships and even have one guy on standby incase one of the boyfriends messes up. This is because 25 and above is when a woman needs to start thinking seriously about settling down and putting all your eggs in one basket is the most unwise move for any woman. Because if after 1,2,3 years of a dating a man and it doesn't work out, it means starting all over again. And before you know it, you're in your 3o's still looking for a husband. But if you have two men and one messes up, the other is still be there, and if the second one also messes up, you have your standby to fall on to. With this tactics, you're guaranteed to be married before 30"When she was saying this, in my head I was thinking, it's hard enough sleeping with one man, how do you do two at the same time? Especially if the guys are 100% faithful to you. How do you satisfy them both? Well you can, but then you always have to have a hand fan around to blow cold air at 'you know what' (like I saw a girl do one time) 'cos its always going to be on fire...lol. Besides if both men find out you're cheating, you're most likely to loose both of them...so what's the sense in that? Maybe there is?What do you guys think?Engrish Pre-haggling at its finest...We woulda tied for 2nd if it wasn'tfor that muffin accident...Always try to bigBut why? lolIf you're already in here, well, okayNA BY FORCE TO MARRYDuring a wedding reception; the groom was called upon to give his vote of thanks to his guests and this is what he came up with: 1. I want to first of all thank the Lord Almighty for creating my wife And to also thank the pastor and his wife for lending us their wedding rings.2. Special appreciation to my landlord who lent us his car.3. I am most grateful to my boss for approving the loan I used for the wedding.4. Big thanks to the committee of friends for the appeal fund they raised on my behalf.5. Also to my brother's wife, thank you for lending us your wedding gown.6. Am so grateful to the cake designer for the cake. I promised to return it tomorrow morning as agreed without cutting or eating out of it.7. Special thanks to my friends who brought food from their homes to help me feed you all. Please for those who were served food good luck and for Those who didn't get any, well we will make it up to you during our child dedication ( hopefully next year).8. Very big thanks to my parents for bringing the village cultural band to supply the music as well as entertain us all here, today.9. Not forgetting the church marriage committee, thank you for persuading my wife to marry me.10. Appreciation to the married men in the church for rushing me into this marriage.11. The women are not left out, thanks a lot for teaching my wife how to dance.12. To the youths, thank you for sweeping and decorating this venue with palm fronds.13. I am also grateful to my teenage friends for helping with the Zobo drink14. Appreciation to my co-tenants for contributing money for the cameraman15. Well, I wish you all safe journey and I pray you don't experience what I suffered for this wedding. Thank you.LOLWays to spot a millionairelol. There's a lot of craziness going on around the world right now.
Hey people. I see I have new readers on my blog. I used to get about 2, 000 hits everyday, but it's increased to about 2, 800 in the last few days. So I have about eight hundred new comers. To all of you, I say welcome to my crazy/beautiful world. We do everything from news, gossip, lifestyle, issues, fashion...etc, basically whatever I find interesting.Speaking of gossip, let me do one amebo for you guys...don't say you read it here o..lol!God forgive me for this....lol!Anyway, there's been a lot of talk in the media that Peter of P-Square is dating ex-MBGN 2007, Munachi Abii. And y'all know he's been in a sizzling romance with the very beautiful Lola Omotayo. Well, last week a soft sell magazine reported that Lola and Munachi exchanged blows at Peter's house when the two met there. Of course Lola denied that ever happened and I believe her. Anyway this week, Peter opened up to Encomium magazine on what exactly is going on between him, Lola and Munachi...From Encomium magazine of this week....enjoy!The media is agog with tales of how Peter of P-Square dumped Lola Omotayo for Munachi Abii, the immediate a4sa4A past Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. Because of the furore generated by the alleged action, a lot of people have been expecting the man at the centre of the controversy to open up and declare who his real lover is between the two beautiful ladies. After much persuasion, the handsome entertainer told his love story to Encomium magazine.Excerpts...Peter and Lola OmotayoWhat is the truth about your relationship with Lola Omotayo and Munachi Abii?Peter a4s"Ia4sa4zve been under pressure for a while to actually address this issue but I just felt I should stay out of it. I dona4sa4zt think I have a choice now than to let people know the real situation of things. I and Lola Omotayo are still very much in love and Munachi knew us to be lovers. I read in a paper recently that Lola and Munachi fought in my house and they've been sending themselves threatening text messages. The truth of the matter is Munachi and Lola have never met before and even Munachi is looking forward to meeting her. Everybody in my family knows that I'm dating Lola and I can't regret marrying someone like her.Are you saying you're planning to get married to her and when?Peter "Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying I am planning to get married now, because marriage is not just something you rush into like that. I am still taking my career very seriously at the moment. Lola is a cool person, very independent and knows how to take good care of me. Some people said I broke up with her because she is older than me. What is their business about her age? After all I knew she was older than me when I toasted her. What about older ladies that toasted me and I didn't yield. I think people should just leave me and Lola alone and let us live our lives. I am sick and tired of all these rumours."What about Munachi?Peter " What about her?Are you guys also having an affair?Peter "The truth of the matter is that Munachi is my very good friend and to any other person in the house. I mean Paul and Jude. The whole thing started when we shot our videos and Munachi happened to be part of it. The press people that were around took photos of us and since then everywhere we go it is romance with Munchi that I hear."But there can't be smoke without firePeter "I won't lie to you. Munachi is a very close friend of mine and a kind hearted girl who deserves all the respect in the world but we're not dating."People now perceive the two ladies as fighting over you?Peter " There's not an iota of truth in that. Munachi can't wait to even meet with Lola and if you read one of her latest interviews she stated that she is not dating anybody. They're both wonderful and there's nothing like fight between them. I am dating Lola and not Munachi." Can you talk about your love story with Lola and how long you guys have been together?Peter "The next three months will make it three years that we've been together and I've never for once regretted knowing her. She knows the difference between Peter of P-Square and the ordinary Peter. One thing I like most about her is that she knows how to take care of me and put smiles on my face when I am sad. I love her so much and she loves me too. She is well known in my family and likewise me in her family. But meanwhile, this is the story another soft sell magazine, City People, carried this week....'Peter of P-Square steps out with Munachi Abii'As the day passes by, the love song between Peter Okoye and former Most Beautiful Girl, Munachi, becomes louder. The love birds attended the City People Awards together holding each other and displaying free expression of affection. After receiving the award 'Music Group of the Year', Munachi didn't hesitate congratulating her man with a beautiful kiss. All I'm going to say is that Peter sure likes beautiful women. Good luck to everyone involved!Ok, I'm through with my gossip...sweet amebo abi? lol!Going to watch some TV.Ciao and stay blessed!nigerianbloggers.com

4 Vote(s)

This is the biggest scandal in Naija right now. I read about it last week but didn't post it here 'cos I wasn't sure how true it was, especially considering the enormity of the accusations leveled against the man in the middle of it all, star actor, Ernest Obi.His 15yr old daughter step-daughter accused him of raping sleeping with her, getting her pregnant and getting her to have two abortions. This week, his estranged wife, Joanne (Mother of the 15yr old) and Ernest granted separate interviews to Encomium Magazine (Monday 3rd-10th 2007) telling their own sides of the story. They were interviewed by a journalist called Azuh Arinze, one of Nigeria's foremost entertainment journalist...meaning that everything he said they said...they probably did.Read their interview...It's so disheartening...First is Joanne (Who is based in the UK...the interview was via phone)One of the hottest stories in town is the allegation that your estranged husband Ernest Obi, impregnated your daughter, Vanessa, how true is it?Joanne "It's true. A friend of mine (Titilayo Oyekola) called me that my ex-husband had sexually abused my daughter and even gotten her pregnant. I didn't believe it, moreso a child he raised, a child who knew no other man as her father but him. What happened was that at that point, Ernest had called me that my daughter ran away from from. My response was that 'you are in Nigeria, she is your daughter. You don't expect me to leave England to look for her. This is a child you raised yourself, why should she have the effontry to abscond. I didn't know that something else was happening. I called her and she picked the call. I told her I'm your mother, whatever happened, I will stand by you, but I just want you to tell me the truth. She was crying. Her words were 'I'm not fit to live'.I just don't want to live. I want to commit suicide. I said 'you cannot do that to me. There is nothing we cannot handle together. I calmed her down and she told me exactly what happened. She said she made him coffee that morning, he gave her some to drink, after drinking halfway, she said she discovered she was feeling a bit dizzy and dozed off. And Ernest forced his way into her"Was it a one off thing or did she tell you about other that he took advantage of her?J "She said mummy I cannot count how many times. I asked where I was the first time it happened and she said 'I was in the hospital ' (At that time I was in Nigeria). I said how long did it continue? She said it went on and on until she took ill. When she took it, she started going to the hospital, finally, she discovered she was pregnant."Did your daughter tell you the hospital Ernest took her to, or the hospital she went on her own?J "She said she went with a girl called Chioma. Ernest knows this girl"Where's your daughter now?J "Right now, she is in Lagos. She just came back from Ogun State because I told her to go there. She hasn't been to school, I didn't know Ernest was not paying her school fees anymore. So, I sent her to Ogun State."Don't you think that you didnt handle the matter well when you got the complaint that your estranged husband was allegedly violating your daughter?J "I blame myself for everything that happened. Oh my God! My intention was to come to Nigeria and unravel the whole thing. My plan was to come to Nigeria and hound him behind bars. If it were in England, he would suffer. I failed in my duty to protect my child because I didn't believe her father would violate her."How long were you married to Ernest?J "officially we were married for ten years. And we have two children together. I have two other kids from another man, Vanessa and Emmanuel"How long ago did you leave his house?J "I left Nigeria on November 6, 2004"How is your daughter handling the situation, considering that it has become a public issue now?J "A lot of stress. All through yesterday, she was crying, I was crying. I cried because it will not go out of her for the rest of her life"When was the last time you spoke to Ernest?J "That was this week (Last week). He said there was a publication in Encomium on front page. He said you guys wrote that he impregnated Vanessa twice and aborted the pregnancy. He called me again yesterday and said he had lost a contract of N36m. He said he just won Chairmanship of AGN, that he wanted to go ahead and resign, that Vanessa said he raped her constantly. I said yes, Vanessa said so!"What about Vanessa's father?J "I didn't have the nerve to tell him. He lives in Lagos. He is aged"When you confronted Ernest about this allegation, was he remorseful?J " He was not remorseful"When did Vanessa tell you that Ernest had been violating her?J "It was in November last year. From what I understand, she ran away from home last yearYou knew about this since last year, how come the press is just getting to know about the story now?J "First of all, I was too embarrassed. Too ashamed of what happened. I didn't know what to do?When you were in Nigeria, did you at any time suspect them?J "No, I never. There was no sign of anything at all"Considering the situation of things now, are you making plans to come to Nigeria to see one or two things you can do to remedy the situation.J "Three times I had tried to come to Nigeria, once in February, July and last in October but I had a lot of problem. Actually because of my kids here. The social services wanted to know who my kids are going to be with."You said your daughter told you she will commit suicide, don't you think it would be nice to come back as early as possible so that she can stop thinking about that drastic step?J "Yes, I actually told somebody that if it means moving back to Nigeria, I will do it. I will do it (Starts crying).End of Joanne's interview.Let's move to Ernest reaction to the whole thingAccording to Encomium...On Saturday Dec 1, 2007, the star actor kept his words by coming to our office. And he was here for over three hours, explaining why he couldn't have slept with a girl he calls his daughter. Ernest Obi, at a point, broke down and cried. And this much he saidErnest Obi "I will start first and foremost by saying that whatever they told you, go ahead and print it. Do not remove a word from whatever they said. I do not want to join issues with them. I just want you to realise something. The same man she's painting as being evil, who she said raped or slept with Vanessa severally is the same man she went to when she has nowhere to go. When nobody wanted to accommodate her, I took her in with two kids who are not mine. I took them in, trained them in school, I even trained the boy in University in my house, even after Joanne left. She left me and we knew it was over. So whatever story she tells, well, that's too bad. And they still were in my house for two years after she left. Does that not tell her anything? Because there was nowhere else for them to go. If it makes her happy to to say things like this, I say more grease to her elbow. But if I was Joanne, and heard that my daughter was raped, I will come back home and lock that person up. That is what I expected she should have done. That is why I said she is the lovely mother that she is. Joanne, pls come home, com and find out the fact; find out the hospital where the D&C was done. Where I took her for abortion, bring your witnesses, arrest me, and I will not argue with you. I will not say anything evil about you.I'm the new AGN (Actor's Guild of Nigeria) Chairman in Lagos. There is nothing anybody can do about that. I have reported this to my guild, national and state and I'm sure they believe in me as I believe in myself. whatever anybody says that is their business. I'm saying this out of respect for this magazine, for calling me to hear my own side of the story. And I'm happy it is all out. I didn't want to say anything before because there are children involved, but now it is obvious it does not matter. She can go on, keep the shame factor on. I'm okay. God bless you"The End!I have only three things to say...1. If I was accused of raping a 12/13 year old girl, and I'm innocent...this is not the kind of things I will say when I grant an interview. I won't take it so calmly. If I never touched that girl, heads will roll. When I say heads, I mean heads. I will get everyone who mentioned my name arrested, hospitals, doctors, tests, the alleged witnesses, friends, associates, extended families will be picked up. Everything and everyone will be exposed and the issue sorted out with the police and I will not rest until the truth is uncovered, because being accused of raping a child is so deep, so treacherous, so offensive, that I will probably have nightmares for the rest of my life if I'm innocent...not to talk of defamation of character...the stain stays with you forever. If that's all Ernest had to say...then I wonder!2. Only an insane person will accuse her step father of raping her if he didn't...So she's either deeply insane or she's telling the truth.3. Apart from Ernest and Vanessa, there's someone else who knows the truth and that's God. May he prevail in this matter...for that child's sake, may he prevail! What do you guys think?nigerianbloggers.com

4 Vote(s)
