Hard to say some cultures and actually years ago families would make a death mask of their loved one or have photos taken in the coffin. Still goes on in areas of the country. Personally I wouldn't want to see a photo of a relative BUT its not any more shocking than the continuous coverage on ET and other shows day after day after day.
Don't get me wrong I'm a fan and saddened by her death but one moment these news shows are showing photos of all the celebrities at the funeral posing even for the official funeral photos which seems a bit insensitive to me then turning around with stories like "Our sources say whitney was taking tequila shots with her daughter the night before" and crap like that. So if your gonna get upset with that photograph theres alots more wrong with the media coverage of celebrity deaths than just that photo and some of you who are screaming about it have been relishing in the coverage.
