Etisalat, one of the leading mobile operators in UAE has signed a deal with Bahrain-based UrFilez, an online music service to launch a music streaming app in about 18 countries where it operates, including Nigeria.
UrFilez is a Spotify-like service that also offers a Pandora-style ‘personalised radio station’ function with over four million licensed DRM free tracks.
The app, which is available on iPhone, BlackBerry and Android platforms, allows you to listen to and discover new music. It also allows you to create your own radio station, just like what Pandora does.
